The French school for energy and health technology

About us

The INSTN, the French school for energy and health technology, is a national higher education institution and training centre administered by the CEA (French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission). For 60 years now, its mission has been to transmit knowledge and know-how developed by the CEA and its industrial partners and thereby support the growth of the low carbon energy industry. Under the joint authority of the Industry, Higher Education and Research, and Energy Ministries, INSTN delivers highly specialised academic and continuing education programs focused on nuclear sciences and techniques, low carbon energy technologies and health technologies. In 2016, INSTN became an IAEA Collaborating Centre for education and training in Nuclear Technologies, Industrial and Radiopharmaceutical Applications.
