For more 10 years, I have been working as a telecoms engineer, mainly in production department. Doing installation, maintenance and user support.I've start develop applications to help the day to day work of my team. That's how I get the virus.
The main thing I love about being a developer is that you'll never finish learning. Software development is art, I can express my creativity. As in every artistic area technics are crucial, but creativity is needed.
I had the chance to play with other language than java : groovy, C#, python, perl, shell script, vba... I play with anything I can put my filthy hands on. :D

I personnaly supervised the installation of the PBXs in our subsidiairies in London, New-York and Geneva.
I developed several applications (still in production) using MS-Access and some perl scripts as "glue code". -
