Jeremy Fain’s Experience

  • CEO (Paris)

    Verteego

    (Privately Held; Computer Software industry)

    December 2007Present (2 years 1 month)

I am a cofounder of Verteego, an environmental management enterprise software solutions vendor
We help organizations assess their sustainability performance, and hence lower their risks, as well as generate their social responsibility report to be shared with their stakeholders to develop their business. But we do many other things very well too: we provide a REACH compliance platform for large accounts to deploy on their supply chain; we have developed Verteego Carbon, a Carbon Accounting, Reporting and Management software; we help consumer good companies and their suppliers eco-label their products ("what's the carbon cost of this bottle of wine?"); etc.

--- We are currently hiring experienced software sales executives (profile: hunters), senior software developers, as well as looking for value-addded resellers all over the world. ---

Jeremy Fain’s Education

  • Ecole centrale de Paris

HEC exchange student, MSc. Eng. level , Information & Communication Technologies; Project Management , 20062007

I thought I needed to understand the nuts and bolts of technology before landing a job in the software industry. Challenging academic year in many respects (it gets pretty technical in software development, computer networks, signal processing, cryptology, database modeling), but at least now I (can I pretend I) know what I'm talking about ;-)

    Activities and Societies:
    Centrale Hatikva
  • HEC School of Management

Bachelor & Master in Management Sciences , Economics, Finance, Marketing, Business Law, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Accounting , 20032007

Best time in my lifetime so far at HEC. Met cool people, lots of crazy partying, frantic days and nights training with the rowing team or working for non-profit organizations AIESEC and AFIDORA with amazing people, beautiful campus outside Paris and extremely useful coursework given by a world-class faculty.

    Activities and Societies:
AIESEC, HEC Rowing Club, HEC Israel

Research paper on "A Dutch-French comparison of the financing structures of telecommunication and oil industry leaders: KPN vs. France Telecom & Royal Dutch Shell vs. Total"

Apart from that, I had a great time in Rotterdam taking extremely interesting classes on entrepreneurship, and hanging out with people from all over the world.

    Activities and Societies:
    AIESEC
  • Ipesup

Classes Preparatoires , Algebra, Calculus, Statistics, History, Geography, Economics, Philosophy, Foreign Languages , 20022003
