In the past few years, I have discovered how to develop community websites in PHP5 and improved my JavaScript skills.
Thanks to new web development techniques such as AJAX or the architectural pattern Model-View-Controller, I can produce interfaces which are light and powerful at the same time for the user and maintainable applications for developers.
Well-aware of the fast evolution of my profession, I keep working on software development techniques like Test-driven development and REST software architecture using a web application framework.
Being a former GOBELINS, l’ecole de l’Image student, I have tried to apply these skills through my one year project called #milkshape.
#milkshape is a collaborative creation experiment on the Internet which brings users an online workshop and allows graphic designers, illustrators and others to produce huge collaborative creations with their workmates.
Event if it is still under development, this project puts together ActionScript3, with the Lowra framework, and Python, with Django framework, and will be Open-Source.
For companies, I mainly use PHP with Zend and symfony frameworks to build powerful web applications, to improve performance and to avoid waste of time on important developments.
I really appreciate development teams who aim at providing original experiences for the customers.
