Within Air France Industries, the Air France MRO branch, I'am working in the aircraft upgrade department.
Our job is to design and certify modifications to aircrafts, from the installation of new seats or galley equipments to the whole design of a customized VIP interior. Our department is working under EASA Part 21 DOA.
As a Fluids and Systems design engineer, I work mainly on Ventilation, Water and Waste, Oxygen, Hydraulic systems...
My job is to reduce the cost of handling modifications on those systems, either by creating new tools for designing them, or methodologies to be more accurate when using subcontractors.
