As EU research project conslutant I set up many technological and financial partnerships in IST field within this two and a half years.
In particular I contributed in managing STREPs (1-5M€ projects) and Integrated projects (10-50M€ projects) funded by the European commission.

I established a good network in various IST expertise domains with high level experts and key industrials (µ and nano electronics, semantic web, embedded software, wireless mobile technologies...)

I remain still deeply facinated by this innovative sector and its great promises for the next years.

Research and development of innovative system to rescue avalanches victims based on cell phones technologies.
5 EC Lille students joined me during the first two years to turn my idea into a project. Then I convinced France Telecom R&D to fund my freelance work during one year to build first prototype and test it in situ.
One european patent issued from this work and is currently owned by France Telecom but it is still not exploited because this niche market remain non strategic domain for FT :-(

Moutain sports: I have national french diploma for teaching ski and snowboard due to my brief past of ski competitor I also developed one patented system financed by France Telecom in order to rescue avalanche victims with support of mobile technologies.
